This is not an assertion but an ascertainment. You have to decide by your free will, whether you want to believe, whether you should believe or whether you are able to believe this.
But test the written. Test it with your heart and with your mind as this is the only way to discern true from false.
A person can only absorb as much of the written as his present consciousness allows him to. Because only the consciousness of a person is decisive whether he wants to accept something or not.
